Juan Antonio Bayona, one of the most international and renowned Spanish directors, chose our hotels in Malaga to give an interesting masterclass on filmmaking on the occasion of Malaga Talent. It’s therefore quite a privilege for us that the award-winner of the Premio Retrospectiva Malaga Hoy of the 21st Malaga Film Festival came to Malaga Premium Hotel to share this productive day with us.
Malaga Talent, celebrated on the occasion of Malaga Film Festival and organised by MAFIZ (Malaga Festival Industrial Zone), is an initiative to develop the creativity of the new generation of producers, directors, script writers, musicians, sound technicians, cinematographers and editors through meetings and workshops. And, of course, the Premium family didn’t want to miss out the opportunity to celebrate such an event at one of our hotels in Malaga!
Promoted by Antonio Banderas and Juan Antonio Vigar, this year’s Malaga Talent was made up of 20 young cinema promises from 11 Latin American and European countries. Its aim is to provide a real vision of the audio-visual industry. A networking opportunity to get to know new people and get close to renowned directors and producers, such as Guillermo del Toro or Juan Antonio Bayona.
Juan Antonio Bayona surprised Malaga Talent participants and gave a masterclass on filmmaking at one of our hotels in Malaga: Malaga Premium Hotel. A great time to have a pleasant chat with the young promises and discover more about their careers, projects, goals and curiosities.
In addition, the director and film producer explained his experience at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and talked about the keys to his success. A real privilege for the participants, who were delighted by his presence, made new good friends and got a really good impression of Malaga Talent.
